After many months of work, my advent calendar book hit the market yesterday! It’s always an emotional moment when a story and its countless illustrations come together to form a children’s book. It feels a bit like a farewell—releasing a small piece of yourself into the wide world. Where will this picture book travel? Will it be bought and loved by many? Or will it sink to the depths of the vast Amazon sea, never to be found again? No matter what happens, I’m sure I’ll be able to offer a few copies in small local bookstores nearby.
